In what is being labeled an apparent act of corporate censorship, Amazon has removed Mike Cernovich’s documentary on fake news from their Prime video store.

“Hoaxed: Everything They Told You Is a Lie” was available for purchase or rental on the platform until April 9. Today, Mike Cernovich made a call to his followers on Twitter to search for the film on Amazon in an attempt to confirm whether the film was still available.

Soon after, users began reporting the documentary was either entirely absent from the Amazon search results, or was unavailable for purchase or rental.

Cernovich then confirmed that the film had been banned from the Prime platform.

Some of Cernovich’s Twitter followers reported seeing a message which stated “our agreements with the content provider don’t allow purchases of this title at this time.”

Mike Cernovich confirmed to The Post Millennial that he received no communication from Amazon on why his documentary was being removed from their platform.

The Post Millennial reached out to Amazon for comment on the apparent removal of Cernovich’s film, but had not heard back prior to publication. This piece may be updated with their comments in the future.
