ANDY NGO REPORTS: Former Texas mayoral candidate revealed to be Antifa member who suggests terrorist attacks

"The media wants to call ANTIFA 'terrorists?'" Dethrow wrote. "I'm not quite sure we shouldn't just prove them right. History has proven there is only one way to rid the world of Nazis."

A former mayoral candidate for San Marcos, Texas, is an Antifa member who is using social media, under a moniker, to call for violence.

Randy Dethrow, 52, operates the account "@Merovie@kolektiva.social" on Mastodon using the name "Loona Pavlichenko." Mastodon is an alternate social media site that temporarily exploded in popularity among leftists after Elon Musk took over Twitter. The platform attracts many violent extremists due to it not having content moderation.

Dethrow posted on Mastodon on Jan. 29 after Los Angeles Antifa member Vishal Singh was suspended from Twitter for ban evasion. Singh had been banned in November after making terroristic threats against Chaya Raichik, also known as "Libs of Tik Tok," and conservatives before making an alternate account.

An account identified as Loona Pavlichenko replied to Singh, saying that those who were allegedly targeting Singh "have addresses as well."

"The media wants to call ANTIFA 'terrorists?'" Dethrow wrote. "I'm not quite sure we shouldn't just prove them right. History has proven there is only one way to rid the world of Nazis."

Dethrow also called for the death of Post Millennial editor-at-large Andy Ngo by posting an inaccurate address he believed belonged to Ngo and instructions on how to get away with committing murder using a firearm.

Dethrow ran for mayor of San Marcos, Texas in 2020 as a candidate with the Democratic Socialists of America. The city is about 30 miles south of Austin. Dethrow posted a campaign video on YouTube at the time saying it is his goal "represent the under-represented," and to support "mutual aid." Dethrow calls for "community gardens" over private lawns, as well as "more social workers and less armed police." His application to run for mayor lists his occupation as a laborer. He received just over four percent of the vote at the time.

During his mayoral run, the San Marcos Daily Record newspaper asked him about his intentions and goals. He noted that the "murder of George Floyd" was part of his inspiration to run for office.

"Our country is facing an avalanche of evictions," he said during the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, "that could spark riots that make Black Lives Matter protests seem quaint." He added: "The police and landlords are two of the most despised groups of people in the country right now."

The Post Millennial was able to identify the person behind the "Loona Pavlichenko" account because he also operates a Facebook page that shows his photograph and links to his music. Dethrow’s Facebook page is also filled with Antifa propaganda and symbols, including a post on Jan. 23 praising the Atlanta autonomous zone gunman, Manuel Teran. Teran was shot dead earlier this month after shooting a Georgia State Patrol trooper. To date, 19 people associated with the illegal occupation south of Atlanta have been charged with domestic terrorism and other serious felonies.

Dethrow wrote: "Anyhow, find me there [Mastodon]. It's a blast, and I find my mental health has vastly improved since I stopped coming to Facebook so much. And I can openly say we should [redacted] all the cops on the planet and not get kicked off. ACAB. F*ck Cop City. And Rest in Power, Manuel Esteban Paez Terán."

In June 2022, Dethrow also posted a photograph of himself on the Facebook account. "Is it still a ‘selfie’ if you got someone else to take the picture?" he asked.

In his most recent post on Jan. 27, Dethrow also claimed to have "gender identity issues," saying that he was having trouble finding a therapist through his insurance company.

"I have been at my wit's end trying to find someone that isn't some Boomer f*ck who I can talk to about my trauma, my gender identity issues, my problems with addiction, etc, and not feel uncomfortable." To help raise money for treatment, he links to his Bandcamp and asks people to pay to download these songs.

Dethrow’s posts were reported to the Portland Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Dethrow was reached for comment, and responded publicly.

Update: Randy Dethrow acknowleged receiving out media inquiry in a Mastodon post.

"WARNING: IMPORTANT - WE ARE BEING WATCHED AND DOXXED ON MASTODON BY THE FAR RIGHT AND NEO NAZIS

"I sometimes engage in hyperbole, or satirical comments such as the one this person took way too seriously when I posted that in real life close to 50-60 percent of murders are never solved and then posted Andy Gno's address.

"Then I get this email today in my most regularly used email addy and they knew my real name. HOW IN THE FUCK DID THEY GET MY EMAIL ADDY? HOW DO I CHANGE MY SETTINGS SO **NO ONE** CAN GET THAT INFORMATION?

"Because from there they can get my real home address and possibly my phone number.

"I post some comments about how these people - who have made us fear for our lives - should get a taste of their own medicine - and the next thing I know I'm getting innocuous emails from these hate groups. They didn't use threatening language - but simply knowing my email and real name is an IMPLIED threat,

"I simply blocked these people but everyone here needs to be aware we are being stalked on this platform, and we need to make sure the admins of our various instances do a better job of vetting who we allow into our spaces:

"The thing is, it seems like almost everyone on Mastodon has written me off, secretly muted me, or something. So evidently my own comrades don't give a fuck if Neo-Nazis come to my house and kill me for having the nerve to suggest trans folks arm themselves and learn self defense.

"But I am willing to bet I will get NO notifications about this post. My anarchist comrades here at kolektiva will ignore this, and will not volunteer to help in any way.

"My Mossberg pump 12-guage will have to do that for me, I guess"

And he shared a screen shot of the email sent by The Post Millennial requesting comment.

He further wrote: "I came to Mastodon because I thought it was a safe space to vent how angry and frustrated and scared I am and how I want to meet others who want to fight back.

"I thought that these right wing assholes had been blocked by the admins of most of the instances kolektiva is connected to. I guess not.

"But it seems all the people who used to follow my posts have gone.

"I'm not going to wait for the cops or Neo nazis here in Texas to come and get me. I am going to turn my shotgun on myself before they get the chance.

"I am terrified for my life and no one seems to care."
