On Tuesday, Off Limits host Ian Haworth was set to give a speech at the University of Albany in New York after an invitation from Turning Point USA, an organization dedicated to the principles of freedom and free speech, but was interrupted by Anti-Christian, far-left students who drowned out his presentation with shouts and aggressive pseudo-dance in an apoplectic display that found one enraged activist destroying a Bible.
On Twitter, Haworth posted clips of the disruption, tracking how the activists barged into the room, began shouting and marching, and even screamed "F*ck you TPUSA" after attempts at settling their outbursts.
He noted that the "heckler's veto is not free speech," something the group would have learned if they had listened instead of shouting things like "Trans rights are human rights" and "Ian sucks."
The group also shouted "no cops, no KKK, no TPUSA" at Haworth, a Jewish immigrant.
The activists, organized by the Young Democrat Socialists of America, were provided free pizza by TPUSA but despite the available free food one woman shouted "f*ck you fascists."
And the group destroyed a Bible "for no reason whatsoever," according to Haworth and protested by forming a conga line.
The group also protested by moving in semi-rhythmic motions.
Haworth wrote in the Washington Examiner, "It's spectacularly ironic that these students aggressively attempted to prevent free speech during an event dedicated to the importance of free speech on college campuses."
Eventually, the protestors were removed by campus staff and local law enforcement.
According to the Daily Mail, the activists were deployed by the University of Albany chapter of the Young Democrat Socialists of America who gave an official response after the incident and said that authorities removing them was "a clear suppression of free speech."
In their response, the activists said Haworth was an "infamous transphobic alt-right figure." They also said he was a "clear danger and significant threat to the many queer students at the University."
The group later described their disruption as "a peaceful demonstration of queer solidarity and joy" and their removal was a violation of their free speech.
They described their removal as "'ironic considering that TPUSA and their guest Ian Haworth claim to uphold these rights," and demanded that any images of their activities be removed from the internet.
According to Fox News, the University of Albany said in a statement, "Consistent with the mission of an institution of higher learning, we expect members of our community to be able to voice their views in a manner that promotes constructive dialogue and honors UAlbany's commitment to freedom of expression."
"This is especially important when it involves speech that members of our community find offensive or objectionable. Our constitutional obligation to protect speech, even when that speech fundamentally conflicts with our core values, is a pillar of our democratic system. We are equally committed to fostering an environment in which all students feel safe and included — and that the right to protest is also protected," the statement added.
