A female RCMP officer has been docked 20 days' worth of pay and 10 days' worth of annual leave as punishment following a complaint of sexual misconduct from a fellow male officer in Vernon, BC, according to Global News.
In addition to the pay cut, Little has also been made ineligible for a promotion for the next two years and must work under close supervision over the next 12 months. Little is also unable to be posted to the same detachment as the male constable, known as AF.
The male RCMP officer, who's identity has been referred to only as AF, claimed that that Const. Valerie Little made sexual comments to him and touched his genitals.
The disciplinary hearing concluded that Little was guilty of two separate incidents that occurred over 10 years ago with the first being an inappropriate sexual comment towards AF on November 1, 2009 and on February 3, 2010, Little also inappropriately touched AF's genitals. The full details are included in the 21-page disciplinary report.
