President Joe Biden was meeting Ukrainian refugees in Warsaw, Poland, on Saturday when he called Russian President Vladimir Putin "a butcher."

Asked what he thinks of Putin's actions against war-torn Ukraine and its displaced citizens, Biden replied over the weekend: "He's a butcher."

It's the latest name that Biden has labeled Putin. Previously, the US president had also categorized Putin as "a war criminal" and "a killer" back in 2021.

According to Fox News, a Kremlin spokesperson indicated that Biden's most recent comment made against Putin makes repairing relations between Russia and the United States more difficult, Russian state media reported.

Fox News went on to report that it is estimated that over 3.7 million Ukrainians have fled the country, since the start of Russia's invasion, as refugees.

Of the mass exit, a mass majority has wound up in neighboring Poland, about more than 2.2 million of them displaced there. Others have found refuge in Moldova, Hungary, Slovakia, and even Belarus as well as parts of Russia.

"We do acknowledge that Poland is taking on a significant responsibility that I don't think should just be Poland and should be the whole world — all of NATO's responsibility," Biden told Polish leaders, urging that all NATO nations open their borders to the fleeing Ukrainians escaping the destruction of Russian's war.

The US so far has planned to receive 100,000 Ukrainian refugees, and Canada has pledged to welcome "an unlimited number" from the war-ravaged land.
