Joe Biden is planning to nominate the Center for American Progress' Neera Tanden as director of the Office of Management and Budget as well as the economist Cecilia Rouse to chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, the Wall Street Journal reported, Sunday.
The WSJ report also said that economists Jared Bernstein and Heather Boushey will be nominated to the Council of Economic Advisors as well.
Additionally, Biden will nominate senior international economic adviser under Obama, Wally Adeyemo, to be Janet Yellen's top deputy at the Treasury Department, according to the WSJ.
Biden is expected to present his key economic picks, Tuesday, in Delaware, Fox Business reports. This is a critical choice for Biden to make amid inheriting a suffering American economy due to the coronavirus.
