Black man films brutal attacks on white women while shouting racial slurs in Charlotte, NC

A North Carolina career criminal has been arrested after he filmed himself attacking and chasing women in two social media videos that he posted online. The attacks appeared to be random, with him punching one woman to the ground, and then chasing after another one.

Di-Quan Schafar Hunt was arrested on Thursday, with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department saying he will be charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon. One video, which was filmed on July 30, took place in the 400 block of East Boulevard in Charlotte, NC.

Hunt was talking about a "real issue" in a separate video that was filmed on July 21, where he was walking past a woman who was holding a "get well" balloon. “Nah, don’t wave to me,” Hunt yelled at the woman, going on to knock her to the ground. The 220-pound repeat criminal hovered over the woman, striking her face multiple times as she lay motionless on the ground, screaming the n-word at her.

“You still talking? You still talking?” Hunt yelled. “July 21st. Say Elijah. Elijah my son, Motherf*cker you playing," he yelled at the woman's face as she lay on the ground defenseless. He took her glasses, kicked the balloon, and then ran from the scene.

In another video, he was talking about McDonald's and charged at a woman before then chasing her around a car by the sidewalk. “You wanna run b*tch, you wanna run motherf*cker, huh? I betcha run again motherf*cker."

Police were shown the videos earlier this week, and Hunt was taken into custody on Thursday around 7:30 am, per the New York Post. He was transported to a medical facility for treatment, but officials did not say what for. After he is discharged, he will be brought to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office and charged.

Over the last 34 months, Hunt has been arrested at least 9 times. Those arrests include assault on a female, simple assault, and assault with a deadly weapon, and he is a well-known vagrant in the city of Charlotte.
