A vocal black Trump supporter who peacefully stood on street corners with "Vote Trump" signs and Bible verses, was killed in broad daylight yesterday in Milwaukee.

1130 WISN reports that 60-year-old Bernell Tremmell was fatally shot in front of his business, Expression Publications, in the Riverwest neighborhood. His building is covered in handmade signs, including ones that read "Vote Donald Trump 2020" and "Re-Elect Trump 2020."

While detectives are investigating the possibility that Tremmell was murdered for political reasons, law enforcement sources told "The Dan O'Donnell Show" at 1130 WISN that it is impossible to know the motive behind the shooting since the suspect is still at large.

Over the past few weeks, Tremmell was advocating for Trump's re-election in front of City Hall in downtown Milwaukee, engaging passersby who would react to his messages.

One woman anonymously told 1130 WISN that she had an interaction with Tremmell last Saturday on Capitol Drive. This was the second time she had encountered him and she pulled her car over this time to chat with him.

"What a nice, friendly man! We chatted for several minutes, and I told him I was proud of him and he’s very brave to put himself out there so visibly as a Trump supporter!" the woman described Tremmell.

The suspect reportedly drove up to Tremmell as he sat in front of his business and shot him before riding away, law enforcement sources also told the radio show.

The perpetrator is still on the loose. Any witnesses or tips about the shooting are urged to forward information to the Milwaukee Police Department.
