UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reportedly tied the knot Saturday afternoon with his partner Carrie Symonds in a private, unannounced, and secret ceremony.

The ceremony appears to have been held in the famous Westminster Cathedral, whose doors were suddenly locked at 1:30pm local time.

Symonds could be seen arriving approximately half an hour later in a long white dress, although sources say she wasn't veiled.

According to Reuters, the pair have been living together at the official Downing Street residence of the prime minister of the UK since Johnson was elected prime in 2019. They had a semi-public engagement (it was announced once by Symonds on social media in February 2020). They also now, since April 2020, have a son together, Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson.

Symonds will be the notably eccentric and flamboyant British head of state's third wife. He was previously married to Allegra Mostyn-Owen, and then to Marina Wheeler. The Wheeler marriage lasted for 25 years and gave the ex-couple four children together. Apparently, details of where the couple might be going for their honeymoon have been kept under tight wraps, and no information is available on such as of this writing. Likewise, Johnson, Symonds and their respective representatives have declined to comment at this time.
