Bank records obtained by the House Oversight Committee have reportedly revealed that Hunter Biden’s Owasco PC made monthly payments to Joe Biden.
"Today the House Oversight Committee is releasing subpoenaed bank records that show Hunter Biden’s business entity, Owasco PC, made direct monthly payments to Joe Biden," Chairman James Comer said in a video released Monday afternoon.
"This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal accounts, but an account for his corporation that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world. At this moment, Hunter Biden is under an investigation by the Department of Justice for using Owasco PC for tax evasion and other serious crimes."
Comer noted that whistleblower testimony showed the Justice Department attempting to prevent investigators from asking questions about Joe Biden, and "it appears the Justice Department was trying to cover up for the Bidens until brave IRS whistleblowers came forward and a federal judge rejected this sweetheart plea deal.
"Payments from Hunter’s business entities to Joe Biden are now part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefitted from his family’s influence-peddling schemes."
A direct deposit form obtained by the committee through subpoenas issued in September reveal that Joe Biden was listed as the recipient of $1,380 monthly beginning on September 15, 2018.
