The Family Kitchen Mexican Restaurant in Leamington, Ontario, has opened its doors in defiance to the Ford government's "emergency brake" shutdown orders which widely impact small business owners.
According to one Facebook post, the restaurant owner, Kirsty Leathem, opened her doors to diners at 10:30 on Tuesday morning.
Speaking to CTV News, Leathem said that she believes she should be able to stay open if the Walmart down the street can.

Family Kitchen Restaurant is open with dine in service, and will be ticketed tomorrow. We must fill their seats! Tuesday, April 6th @ 10 AM 73 Erie Street South Leamington."
