Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis is running for the Conservative leadership once again.
The rising MP for Haldimand—Norfolk made the announcement in a tweet on Tuesday, officially launching her second bid for the position. Lewis came in third behind Erin O'Toole and Peter MacKay during the last contest.
Lewis is the second candidate to officially announce their candidacy, after veteran MP Pierre Poilievre did so. It is widely expected that Jean Charest will also announce his candidacy later this week.
Candidates must enter a $200,000 to enter the leadership race, with $100,000 being returned later.
