In a video posted on social media Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell  (R-KY) is seen mid-sentence, saying, “....apart from the cooperation and a strain of uh,” before he then stopped speaking and stood silently at a press conference. He was surrounded by others soon thereafter, who asked if he was okay and had anything else to say. McConnell was then escorted away from the podium by Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY).

The 81-year-old McConnell reportedly came back to the press conference minutes later, and said he was fine upon receiving questions about his state of health.

This comes after McConnell was treated in the hospital for a concussion and minor rib fracture following a fall he suffered in March.
