OJ Simpson's parole has ended early and he's now "a completely free man."

A spokesperson for the Nevada State Police confirmed to TMZ Sports that the former Buffalo Bills running back was discharged from parole earlier in the month.

The acquitted California murder defendant was discharged from parole effective Dec. 1, Nevada State Police spokeswoman Kim Yoko Smith said Tuesday.

Simpson, who had been on parole since Oct. 1, 2017, was awarded good behavior credits which allowed the early parole release, according to the spokesperson.

"Mr. Simpson is a completely free man now," the former NFL star's attorney Malcolm LaVergne told the Associated Press after the news broke.

Simpson's parole was set to expire on Feb. 9, 2022. The 74-year-old Simpson had been on parole after he served nine years behind bars following a 2008 armed robbery conviction and was sentenced to 33 years in prison for the crime.

Since he was released from jail, Simpson has been living in a Las Vegas gated community and golfing often while commenting from Twitter on NFL games.
