On Saturday, former President Donald Trump took to the stage at SneakerCon to an enthusiastic crowd.

As the former president was walking up to the stage the crowd began to chant, "F Joe Biden."



In an image posted to X, a pair of solid gold sneakers with red and white soles and a "T" on the tongue, were placed on the stage just ahead of the former president's arrival.





"I’ve wanted to do this for a long time," Trump told the crowd. "This is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years. and I think it's going to be a big success.”

"Your influences have been very positive," he continued. "They love it and they love what we have done."

He picked up one of the shoes and showed it to the crowd and said, "That's the real deal. and we appreciate it, we really appreciate it, and more than anything else we appreciate the turnout."

"What's the most important thing?" he asked the crowd. "It's to go out and vote, we have to go out and vote. We have to get young people out to vote."



After taking the stage, the former president pulled a young woman on the stage. "We need him," she told the crowd. "He's a Christian. He’s a good honest man. They’re after him for no reason.”



The gold Trump sneakers are available a the GetTrumpSneaker.com website for $399, and according to the website it is not connected to his political campaign.
