During his speech at CPAC, Trump took to the stage to and told the audience of hundreds that if he takes office in 2024, he will conduct the "largest deportation’ in American history" and focused on the border crisis that has occurred under President Joe Biden.
“It will be the largest deportation in the history of our country…They’re killing our people. They’re killing our country. We have no choice!" Trump said of the wave of illegal immigration that has come into the United States.
Throughout his speech at CPAC, Trump laid into Biden on the issue of immigration.
"Four years ago I told you that if Crooked Joe Biden got to the White House our borders would be abolished, our middle class would be decimated, and our communities would be plagued by bloodshed, chaos and violent crime," Trump commented. "So, believe me when I offer you another warning... If Crooked Joe Biden and his thugs win in 2024, the worst is yet to come."
He recounted his success in office as compared to what has happened after Biden has become elected, including how he had lower levels of illegal immigration, how Trump's administration was able to hold adversarial actors accountable, and that the economy was doing better.
Trump insisted the only way to get the state of the country back on track was to vote out Biden from office.
“To achieve a great future, we first have to throw off the chains of our out-of-control political class and that begins with telling crooked Joe Biden, ‘You’re fired!’”
Crime related to illegal immigration has been in recent news as well. Just this past week, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela was arrested for the murder of a nursing student on campus of the University of Georgia at Athens.
Backlash has also erupted against Biden in recent months against the case where illegal immigrants beat up NYPD officers.
