In polls released by the Teamsters union, its members overwhelmingly support Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 race against Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

In the Teamsters Electronic Member Poll, Harris received just 34 percent support while Trump received 59.6 percent. The option for other candidates received 6.4 percent. The electronic poll was conducted between July 24 and September 15.

In the Teamsters Research Phone Poll, Harris received just 31 percent support, while Trump received 58 percent, and six percent were undecided. An additional five percent responded "don't know." The phone poll was conducted between September 9 and 15.

In the Teamsters Presidential Town Hall Straw Polls conducted in person when the race was against Trump and Biden, Biden received 44.3 percent, Trump, 36.3 percent and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 5.6 percent.

The Teamsters announced the results in a post on X: “For the past year, the Teamsters Union has pledged to conduct the most inclusive, democratic, and transparent Presidential endorsement process in the history of our 121-year-old organization—and today we are delivering on that promise to our members,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien.

“Our members are the union, and their voices and opinions must be at the forefront of everything the Teamsters do. Our final decision around a possible Presidential endorsement will not be made lightly, but you can be sure it will be driven directly by our diverse membership.”

“The Teamsters have not yet endorsed any candidate for US President. The union’s General Executive Board expects to announce a decision on Wednesday.”
