Scott is expected to endorse Trump at a rally in Concord, New Hampshire on Friday night.
Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) is set to endorse Donald Trump at a campaign rally in New Hampshire on Friday night.
Two people briefed on the matter told the New York Times that Scott, who suspended his own campaign for GOP presidential nominee in November, is traveling to Florida on Friday so he can fly with Trump to New Hampshire.
The endorsement is expected to boost Trump in both New Hampshire as well as in South Carolina, the home state of both Scott and fellow GOP candidate Nikki Haley.
Scott’s endorsement will come ahead of New Hampshire’s primary elections, which will take place on Tuesday.
Trump has made a number of stops in New Hampshire ahead of the election, with Friday’s event taking place in Concord, an event on Saturday taking place in Manchester, and a Sunday event in Rochester. Trump also made stops in Portsmouth and Atkinson this week.
This is a breaking story and will be updated.Powered by The Post Millennial CMS™ Comments
