BREAKING: Trump to release 80,000 pages of JFK documents tomorrow

This comes after Trump made it a promise of his campaign to release the files. Trump said he would be releasing "all of the Kennedy files. People have been waiting for decades for this." He then added that the release of file was "put together by Tulsi Gabbard" and that the files will be "released tomorrow."

Trump said that he would be releasing 80,000 pages of unredacted files as he spoke to White House press pool reporters.

“I don't believe we're going to redact anything,” Trump added, later saying, "I said during the campaign I'd do it and I'm a man of my word so tomorrow you have the JFK files." Speaking to an advisor, Trump then added that the files will be released in the afternoon on Tuesday.

When he was asked if there would be an executive summary by reporters, he responded, "No, I'm not doing summaries. You'll write your own summaries." He then said that the files amount to "approximately 80,000 pages."

In an interview with "Full Measure" over the weekend, Trump said that the release of the files on the JFK assassination was "moving along pretty rapidly." Trump emphasized that the JFK files have been the most requested after he signed an executive order earlier this year, ordering the release of the assassination files on JFK, as well as Martin Luther King Jr., as well as all files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

"I released a lot of them, but then a lot of people started coming in, people that are respected, people that worked for the administration, asked me not to release the rest. And I respected that. They gave me certain reasons, but I respected that," Trump added in the interview. "I said that probably wish I did release the whole thing, because I have no idea what's in there. But since then, they found, and we found 2,000 more documents on Kennedy, and the one they want most is Kennedy, and it's going to be released. It's moving along, and it's moving along pretty rapidly."
