Dr. Bret Weinstein is an Biologist and Evolutionary Theorist. He is also the host of the "Dark Horse Podcast," and a major figure in the Intellectual Dark Web. Bret also launched a positive political initiative called "Unity 2020," which was aimed to unite our currently divided society.
Dr. Weinstein was suddenly deleted from Facebook last week, without explanation.
Dr. Weinstein's commentary on large corporations, and large authoritarian governments has been deeply fascinating to countless individuals. His take on the current political climate and upcoming election is deeply valuable and scientific.
Dr. Bret Weinstein taught at Evergreen College, which allows the students of colour to take a day of absence once a year, so that their importance and contribution is felt at the school. In 2017, the school flipped things and told white people that they are not welcome on campus for a day. Dr. Weinstein found this to be a dangerous precedent.
In an email to the campus, Dr. Weinstein states, "There is a huge difference between a group or coalition deciding to voluntarily absent themselves from a shared space in order to highlight their vital and underappreciated roles.... and a group encouraging another group to go away. The first is a forceful call to consciousness, which is, of course, crippling to the logic of oppression. The second is a show of force, and an act of oppression in and of itself."
Dr. Weinstein and his wife Dr. Heather Heying, have since been forced out of their positions for opposing this seemingly racist initiative on the part of the school. Countless videos have gone viral, depicting large groups of activists taking over the school in a very literal manner.
Since then, Dr. Weinstein has travelled all over the world, giving speeches and educating the public on the vital aspects of Western Liberal Democracy.
