Candace Owens interviews Project Veritas' James O'Keefe

"A student inside the school took a photo of the Antifa flag on the wall and told us about the teacher, and we corroborated it. So it’s become a grassroots movement of people on the inside who film what’s going on."

Journalist James O'Keefe joined Candace Owens in this week's episode of Candace. The duo discussed the groundbreaking Project Veritas investigation into a California teacher who was attempting to radicalize students.

Touching on the Antifa teacher, Owens remarked "This is a predator in the classroom to say that 'I have 180 days to turn them into revolutionaries,' to say that 'I’m giving them extra credit to show up to protest.'"

"They have the antifa flag in the classroom, the flag of Chairman Mao, a communist, in the classroom. … Everyone knew this - the principal knew it, everyone who worked at the school knew it, and they did nothing," O'Keefe said. "It wasn’t until Project Veritas showed up and photographed it, videotaped it. Someone in the classroom was our informant. Every time I break one of these, a hundred more people become informants. … They did nothing until we showed up. Then they said they were going to fire this guy. So they admitted he did something wrong."

The Project Veritas report exposed Inderkum High School AP government teacher Gabriel Gipe for politically indoctrinating students and stating that he is turning his students into "revolutionaries." "I have 180 days to turn them [students] into revolutionaries … Scare the f— out of them," said Gipe in the undercover footage filmed by Project Veritas.

Most notably, O'Keefe told Owens his team found out about the teacher from a student who took a photo of the antifa flag hanging in the classroom. "A student inside the school took a photo of the Antifa flag on the wall and told us about the teacher, and we corroborated it. So it’s become a grassroots movement of people on the inside who film what’s going on," O'Keefe said.

Additionally, the antifa teacher remarked in the hidden camera footage that he is not the only teacher attempting to radicalize children. This is something Owens asked O'Keefe about. "He’s not the only person who should be fired… presumably the administrators are walking around, other teachers are seeing it, so why is he the person who gets fired?"

"That’s why this is such a big deal. Most of the time [Project Veritas] is always on the one on defense. We’re always complaining about the problems. Well, now they’re on defense," O'Keefe remarked. "There was a school board meeting that happened the day after this tape came out. Hundreds of parents showed up. They were all indignant, they were all upset, they were all on the verge of tears. I was on the verge of tears watching them. And they were all upset - "why didn’t you guys do anything?" … So the system is completely broken. There are a lot more people like  this guy, but I feel like there was a turning point moment last week to see all of these hundreds [of outraged parents.] … What gives me hope is the fact that I am receiving these messages on the inside of all these organizations."

James O'Keefe also told Owens he isn't planning on stopping anytime soon. "You have to expose tech and media because everything is downstream from culture. Culture is downstream from data. So you have to reveal the tech oligarchy with the media. We have people inside almost all newsrooms at this point. We’ve had dozens of people reach out to Project Veritas from within newsrooms who are currently recording. They say 'Don’t film us', well if you’re not doing anything wrong, you shouldn’t have anything to be afraid of. You’ll see stories come out in the coming weeks on that."

Candace debuts weekly on The Daily Wire and stars conservative commentator Candace Owens.
