A liberal leader of a "independent police advisory group" appeared on Cathy Newman's show and gave a strange response to the question of whether the Winston Churchill statue should be taken down.

Newman put the question to the guest, by asking if she thought the statue of Churchill "should be there or not."

The woman replied with: "Well I've heard many arguments on both sides. Some say that he's a racist, some say that he's a hero. I haven't personally met him. But what I would say is that the question of whether he should remain should be put to the community."

What is striking about this bizarre response is that she apparently is unwilling to give a hard answer to the question concerning someone she has never met before.
