CFL player arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in Florida

A Canadian Football League player has been arrested in Florida and charged with attempted murder and first-degree murder.

Travis Rudolph, who is the wide receiver for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, was allegedly tied up in a shooting in the sunshine state, according to CTV News.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office released a statement that said the police responded to a shooting in the early hours of the morning. It is said that this shooting followed a fight in Lake Park, Florida.

One man is dead following this incident, and another is in intensive care in a local hospital.

Rudolph has already been released by the Bombers and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
