The group chanted back, "Marg bar Israel!"
Around 300 individuals attended the event at the Teamsters Union's headquarters where organizers explained how they plan to disrupt the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago this August, Free Press reports.
The group also celebrated Iran launching a drone and missile attack on Israel during the event.
Video footage shows the group, all wearing black N95 masks, sitting in a circle in the basement of the Teamsters Union's headquarters building.
A Persian man, who has been identified as Shabbar Rizvi, an organizer with Anti-War Committee Chicago, walks to the center of the circle and teaches the group how to chant "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" in Farsi.
"So I'm going to teach you a chant in Persian that you can use if you ever encounter those Zionist freaks, whether they be Iranian or whatever," the man said.
"We all know what a margarita is, we all know what a bar is. So, you're going to say, 'Marg bar!'"
"Marg bar!" the crowd chants back, which means "death to" or "down with."
"Marg bar Israel!," the instructor yelled.
The group chanted back, "Marg bar Israel!"
An individual in the group asked what that phrase meant, which prompted another person to ask if they could "get a marg bar America."
The group then cheered, "Marg bar America!"
Later that day, Hatem Abudayyeh, leader of the US Palestinian Community Network, stumbled to the podium to announce that the Islamic regime of Iran had launched missiles and drones at Israel.
The crowd responded by cheering, according to Free Press.
"This is when this country and the world needs us because the United States is going to, quote-unquote, defend the criminal Israeli state," said Abudayyeh.
"We have to assume that the United States is going to try to retaliate against Iran. We’ve got to be the strong, powerful anti-war movement that we are," he contended.
The crowd responded by chanting, "Hands off Iran!"
