UFC fighter, Colby Covington made headlines on Saturday night, not only for defeating former champion, Tyron Woodley, but also his post fight interview where he praises Trump.

Covington defeated Woodely at the UFC on ESPN+ 36 main event in Las Vegas. Covington beat Woodley with a fifth-round TKO, a come back from his defeat by Kamaru Usman this past December.

In the post-fight interview, Covington railed against "woke athletes, and these spineless cowards, like Lebron James", and praised President Trump.

Covington also sported a "Keep America Great" hat in his post-fight show where he gets into a taunting match with Kamaru Usman.

Other fighters are also jumping into the mix, such as Leon Edwards, BAMMA welterweight champion. His tweet challenges Covington to a match, and calls him a "racist"

Dana White was asked about these heated altercations in the post-fight interview. He stated the UFC is for free speech.
