Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO) has sent a letter to the British ambassador to the United States, imploring the government of the UK to stop Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, from being involved in the 2020 presidential election.

British Royal family decorum has always taken a politically neutral stance is it would seem improper for a constitutional Monarchy to influence politics. Markle has thus made history for the Royal family in more ways than expected.

“I am writing to express concern with Their Royal Highness The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their continued interference in the United States presidential election,” Smith stated.

The letter went as far as requesting that Queen Elizabeth consider stripping Harry and Meghan of their royal titles if they refuse to stop their involvement in American politics.

President Trump recently dissed Markle and pitied Harry for marrying her.
