Suffs, a feminist musical about the suffragist movement, has made its way to the Broadway stage with former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a co-producer.

A video clip from a preview of the musical, which is set to open at the Music Box Theatre on April 18, recently surfaced on X and people don't seem to be too thrilled to go see it, according to comments that were left on the video.

The video clip shows a group of women starring in the musical singing one of its songs.

The lyrics include, "Mr. President hear our cries. We the women of the country, we demand to be heard. We demand to be seen. We demand equality and nothing in between."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the musical is set in 1913, when the "Suffs," or suffragists, are helping to expand the women's movement in America. The story depicts women overcoming obstacles posed by generational, racial, and class divides. It also highlights the nation's ongoing fight for equality and equity, which culminated in the 19th Amendment. Furthermore, women's pursuit of the legal right to vote in the United States is depicted throughout the story.

Clinton was recently confronted by pro-Palestinian protestors outside a fundraiser she and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda hosted for Joe Biden at a preview of Suffs.
