“As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life,” Kim wrote.
Dr. YoungHoon Kim, recognized as the individual with the highest recorded IQ in history, has publicly affirmed his belief in Jesus Christ, stating that Christ is “God, the way and the truth and the life.”
The declaration, posted to Kim’s official X account, comes shortly after his confirmation as the current holder of the world’s highest IQ.
“As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life,” Kim wrote.
Kim’s IQ has been independently verified at 276 by multiple international organizations, including the Official World Record, the World Memory Championships, and the World Memory Sports Council (WMSC)—all of which maintain official partnerships with Guinness World Records, a press release stated.
In a prior post, Kim shared his official IQ certification, writing: “My World's Highest IQ certificate by Official World Record® and World Memory Championships & World Memory Sports Council, which is in official partnership with Guinness World Records. Thank you everyone for your trust in me.”
As of 2025, Kim holds the title of Vice-President of both the World Memory Championships and WMSC. These organizations were founded by Mind Map creator Tony Buzan and British chess grandmaster Raymond Keene. Over the years, the competitions have produced several prominent cognitive experts, including 2024 Nobel Prize winner Dr. Demis Hassabis.
The organizations behind Kim’s recognition are internationally regarded for evaluating cognitive and memory performance under standardized conditions. His score places him at the top of all known intelligence measurements globally.
"Certified by the Official World Record, World Memory Championships, and World Memory Sports Council (in partnership with Guinness World Records), Dr. Kim’s IQ has also been validated by elite societies including the GIGA Society, Mega Society, Triple Nince Society, and Mensa. His intelligence has been confirmed by clinical neuroscientists from Yale University, and he was named the #1 highest IQ in the world by CNN, CNBC, Newsweek, and Reader’s Digest," says a press release.
