Sean Ono Lennon, son of the late Beetle John Lennon and artist Yoko Ono, has been on a Twitter tear, going after the Democrats for selecting Vice President Joe Biden as their presidential nominee. After Bernie Sanders left the fight, Biden is officially set to duke it out with President Trump until November's election day.
An accomplished musician himself, Sean Ono Lennon, has posted several memes since April 1. It was around that time that a string of celebrities decided to post a video of themselves singing "Imagine" by John Lennon.

"Although delightful, please know it is not absolutely necessary to quote the lyrics of Imagine to me as a response to each and every tweet I make," Lennon said. "It may come as a shock to you but I am vaguely familiar with both the music AND the lyrics of this tune. Thank you," the tweet concludes.

With Joe Biden's road to the Democratic nomination paved with the tears of Bernie Bros, Lennon set his meme-sights on the Dems.

"Amazing Dems spend so much energy on so many things but were ultimately unable to come up with a candidate who can speak a single complete and coherent sentence. I have nothing against this man, he seems very nice, but he is clearly firing on few or possibly no cylinders," said Lennon.
Videos continue to pile up of Biden either losing track of his thoughts mid-sentence, or fumbling over his words so badly that his sentences mean nothing.

Lennon has also let his thoughts be known on the coronavirus pandemic, specifically about whether or not calling the virus "Chinese" was racist.
On March 20, Lennon tweeted: "We live in a time that calling a virus that came from China, Chinese, is racist, (and arguably dangerous for Asians because: morons). Oh, and calling a virus that probably didn’t come from Spain, Spanish, well that makes total sense."
Above all, Lennon appears to be concerned about civil liberties in the United States, pointing to major events like 9/11 as opportunities the government has used to strip Americans of their rights.
"They know a crisis is an opportunity. They used 9/11 to take civil liberties. I wonder what they will use this pandemic for. I doubt they’ll let an opportunity go to waste."

Anyone remember a little tweet I wrote asking what civil liberties they would take using covid as an excuse? https://t.co/rFpr4BHnSM

In all, Lennon believes that humanity "will evolve" from the coronavirus, but only after a long bout with the pandemic.
I keep thinking how shitty 2020 has been so far. But then when you think about WWII—I think about my mom seeing Tokyo when it was fire bombed for example—and I’m certain that not only will we collectively make it through this, but humanity will evolve because of it.
