Doctor who opposed Covid mandates found guilty of 'misinformation' by Ontario physicians board

His lawyer called that an affront to free speech in Canada.

The Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal has judged Dr. Mark Trozzi guilty of misconduct and spreading “misinformation” because of his opposition to Covid-19 mandates.

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) told the tribunal that Dr. Trozzi's criticism of Covid-19 health mandates were "misinformation” and that it possesses the legal right to restrain free expression to stop the spread of misinformation in the interest of the public good and for the sake of the professional conduct.

His lawyer called that an affront to free speech in Canada, according to The Epoch Times.

The tribunal did not accept Trozzi's argument that the tribunal was squashing his free speech and that in doing so it would prevent other doctors from questioning government policy and encouraging scientific discussion.

"A finding of professional misconduct… does not impair his right to engage in debate, even heated debate, about public health measures," the decision, released on Oct. 6, states.

"It does impair his ability to engage in speech which is misleading, inflammatory and contributes to harm to the public during a public health emergency."

Michael Alexander, the lawyer who represented Trozzi before the tribunal, contended at a June hearing that free expression should not be silenced or punished even if the CPSO deems it to be "offensive, angering, discomfiting, and inflammatory."

“The charter does not prohibit offensive expression for one fundamental reason: It isn't possible to separate speech that is intended only to offend from speech that offends because it strikes at the truth,” Alexander said.

Although the tribunal admitted that "there can be reasonable differences of opinion, even on scientific questions,” it was not prepared to excuse Trozzi.

"However, this case is about a physician denying well-established facts in a deliberately inflammatory manner to undermine public health measures during a pandemic," it said.

The tribunal was especially incensed over instances when Trozzi publicly called the Covid-19 vaccine dangerous, noted that alternative treatments for the disease were available but ignored by health authorities and that the extent of the Covid pandemic was greatly exaggerated.

God bless Dr. Trozzi for standing up for patients and patient rights. Proven facts are; the government, mainstream media and the colleges of physicians and surgeons were the ones spreading misinformation. Their mantra for the shot was "safe and effective" and it was spread far and wide. It is neither safe nor effective. Dr. Trozzi, please know that I and many others, support you and appreciate you for exposing the corrupt system that we call medicine in this country. The colleges are run by the BigPharma Drug Cartel which is the most successful and protected cabal in the country. I am a lawyer and I know this; "Give blanket immunity from prosecution and lawsuits married to the potential to make billions of dollars and human greed and evil will reign". This is exactly what happened during covid-iocy.
