"That Montana meat cutter became I guess the number one recipient of lobbyists dollars in all of Washington."

At a recent Republican rally in Missoula, Montana, Donald Trump Jr. revealed that Democratic Senator Jon Tester’s godson admitted to him that Tester sold out to the swamp and supports Republican nominee Tim Sheehy for the senate seat.

Speaking before a crowd of over 300 attendees, Trump Jr. expressed support for Republican nominee Tim Sheehy in the Montana Senate race, painting Tester as out of touch with the conservative values of Montana, according to the Missoula Current. Trump Jr. highlighted Tester's alleged alignment with the "radical left-wing agenda" of President Joe Biden despite attempting to portray himself as a political moderate.

“We can't afford to allow a fraud to represent the values of Montana, one of the most conservative states in the country, yet you have one of the most, maybe the most liberal Senators (Sen. Jon Tester),” Trump Jr said at the rally.

Trump Jr. then went on to recount a conversation with Josh Smith, identified as Tester's godson and co-founder of the Montana Knife Company. According to Trump Jr., Smith criticized Tester's evolution from a humble Montana meat cutter to a figure entrenched in the swamp of Washington DC.

"Because the problem is essentially, he was the meat cutter yada, yada, yada 25 years ago. That's what he did, and that's who he was,” Trump Jr. explained.

“And then he went to DC, and everything changed. So that Montana meat cutter became I guess the number one recipient of lobbyists dollars in all of Washington. Think about that. Doesn't strike me as the thing that a humble school teacher meat cutter from Montana would be the number one recipient of lobbyists dollars. A moderate votes 100% with the radical agenda of Joe Biden?" Trump Jr. continued.

“[Tester] Got enveloped by the swamp, he became what happens so much in D.C.,” Trump Jr. said. “I mean, there’s a saying in DC that the swamp is undefeated. That’s because it does do a good job turning good people into bad people, corrupting them entirely. But that’s where you are in Montana.”

Tester, a Democrat seeking re-election in a predominantly Republican state, currently faces a formidable challenge from Republican Sheehy, a former Navy SEAL and entrepreneur.
