A report by Forbes found that Dr Anthony Fauci is the highest-paid federal employee in the United States, earning a whopping $417,608 per year salary.

According to The New York Post, the 80-year-old doctor who heads the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, makes more than the President of the United States, who earns $400,000 annually.

The report only covers Federal Employees who are fully paid by US taxpayers, meaning that those who work for corporations owned by the US Government, like Tennessee Valley Authority CEO Jeffrey Lyash, was not included.

Dr. Fauci will take home $2.5 million from 2019 to 2024 if he decides to keep his job, he could take home even more if the Biden administration decides to give him a raise.

Fauci took home $3.6 million between 2010 and 2019, at the start of the decade his salary was $335,000 per year, but his salary was increased to the current $417,608 per year during the Obama administration in 2014.

Fauci was previously asked if he had millions of dollars invested in the vaccine, to which he replied "no, I got zero! I am a government worker. I have a government salary," Fauci answered, chuckling, but avoided mentioning his take, the largest in the entire federal government.

What he did not mention, was that he is the highest-paid federal employee earning more than the President and the Vice-President of the United States, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and the Speaker of the House.

Fauci has been working for the US Federal government for 53 years, and began his current position as director of NAID in 1984. At 80 years old, he remains in that position helping the US government fight the COVID-19 pandemic which has killed over 400,000 Americans.
