In response to a social media post from Donald Trump, E. Jean Carroll's lawyer said that "all options are on the table" to go after the 45th president again in a lawsuit. Carroll previously sued Trump for defamation after he said that her claims that Trump raped her were false. Trump said that the claims were not true again in the post.

“We have said several times since the last jury verdict in January that all options were on the table. And that remains true today—all options are on the table,” the lawyer said in response to the social media post in a statement to The Hill.

The post from Trump on Memorial Day stated: “Happy Memorial Day to All, including the Human Scum that is working so hard to destroy our Once Great Country, & to the Radical Left, Trump Hating Federal Judge in New York that presided over, get this, TWO separate trials, that awarded a woman, who I never met before (a quick handshake at a celebrity event, 25 years ago, doesn’t count!), 91 MILLION DOLLARS for 'DEFAMATION'."

"She didn't know when the so-called event took place - sometime in the 1990's - never filed a police report, didn't have to produce the "dress" that she threatened me with (it showed negative!), & sung my praises in the first half of her CNN Interview with Alison Cooper, but changed her tune in the second half - Gee, I wonder why (UNDER APPEAL!)?" Trump added in the post.

A federal jury in NYC ordered Trump to pay over $83 million in damages over the defamation trial that happened in January, however, the decision is under appeal. Carroll said earlier this year that she would "absolutely" sue Trump again if given the chance and told MSNBC host Rachel Maddow that she would "go shopping" with all the money from the decision in January.
