Elon Musk spoke in Wisconsin on Sunday, where he said that the state Supreme Court election was one an event in which the outcome is going to "affect the entire destiny of humanity." The election taking place on Tuesday will determine whether or not a conservative or liberal judge it brought onto the state Supreme Court.

The election, which has the potential to lead to two House GOP seats turning to Democratic seats in the midterms if redistricting takes place, could impact the razor-thin majority the GOP has in the US House of Representatives.

"What’s happening on Tuesday is a vote for which party controls the US House of Representatives. That is why it is so significant. And whichever party controls the House, you know, to a significant degree controls the country, which then steers the course of Western civilization," Musk said.

"I feel like this is one of those things that may not seem that it's going to affect the entire destiny of humanity, but I think it will," Musk told a town hall audience in Wisconsin on Sunday, later adding, "We've got to pull a rabbit out of the hat. We actually have to have a steady stream of rabbits out of the hat, like it's an arc of rabbits flying through the air and then landing in a voting booth."

The election pits Judge Brad Schimel, a more conservative judge, against the more liberal Dane County Circuit Judge Susan Crawford. There has been a huge push from the GOP in a get-out-to-vote effort, which was sparked by a comment made by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who told DNC Chair Ken Martin that the race is key for Democrats “because there are gerrymandered congressional lines right now in Wisconsin."

If Crawford were to win the election and keep the panel of judges at 4 to 3 majority Democrat, the court may take up redistricting the congressional lines. If Schimel were to win, the court would then be majority Republican.

Musk has spent over $20 million on the race, backing Schimel. "They will try to stop all the government reforms we are getting done for you, the American people," Musk said, in reference to the work he has done with the Department of Government Efficiency to cut out waste, fraud, and abuse of government spending.
