Conservative leadership candidate Erin O'Toole has released a video where he intensely criticizes the Chinese CCP regime and advocates for a future of Canadian self-reliance.
"Never again can Canada be caught unprepared for national emergencies, said O'Toole. "For too long we've sent critical supply chains, and jobs that came with them, oversees."
"We put our faith in corrupt foreign governments (while the video showed a b-roll of Chinese leader Xi Jinping) and incompetent global institutions. And to what end?"
O'Toole has been vocal in his criticism of the WHO over recent weeks, joining an ever-growing list of Canadians who have become suspicious over their efficacy.
"Our economy is now in shambles and we're scrambling for critical medical supplies," continued O'Toole. "All the while, Taiwan and Israel have far fewer cases, fewer deaths, and limited economic damage. Canada can't go on like this."
Throughout the video, O'Toole used strong language to describe both the WHO and the Chinese regime. O'Toole even mused whether China will demand something in return for their medical equipment, referencing their botched "mask diplomacy."
