Family separation continues at US/Mexico border despite Biden's promises to end it

A description from a Connecticut Senator shows Biden’s migration practices differ from his promised policies.

For the time being, that's all the general public is being allowed to work off of. Word of mouth.

America’s greatest shame unfortunately doesn’t stop at the public ignorance of the Biden administration’s own press secretary. Jen Psaki herself accidentally slipped up and referred to the situation on the US southern border as a crisis.

On at least three separate occasions in recent weeks the Biden administration strongly denied the “crisis” label. Something that only buckled in the public eye when they finally called FEMA to assist border officials.

An open migration policy that got more out of control thanks to the PR signaling by Biden’s people that made it seem as if it was an open invitation to all migrants in South America.

“Family separation will end on my watch — I promise you,” said Joe Biden on February 21st 2020.

"Just left the border processing facility. 100s of kids packed into big open rooms. In a corner, I fought back tears as a 13 yr old girl sobbed uncontrollably explaining thru a translator how terrified she was, having been separated from her grandmother and without her parents." said Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut.

This is what DHS Secretary Mayorkas allegedly means when he says we will “care” for migrant children. Packing them in open rooms by the 100s.

A follow-up tweet from the Senator tried to clarify that the policy of family separation is over.

"For clarification, kids are no longer separated from their parents at the border (in this case, the girl’s parents are in the US). But even though kids can now stay and apply for asylum, if they are traveling w relatives who aren’t parents, the relative can’t stay."

We can claim family separation is happening if relatives are being separated from minors. Which is confusing, seeing as Mr. Murphy just described a case of this seemingly happening in practice. If hundreds of kids are all cobbled together like sardines, it speaks for itself.

What’s going on? The media doesn’t know. Ed O’Keefe from CBS begged Senator Murphy for video footage of the tour.

This blackout is the Biden administration’s policy all around when it comes to his border crisis. Press weren’t allowed to tag along with DHS Secretary Mayorkas and his entourage of Senators (including, presumably Chris Murphy) today when they visited El Paso, Texas. Press couldn’t come along on so-called “privacy and COVID-19” precautions.

This is what is meant when Biden’s critics say former President Trump was leagues more transparent on allowing access to the southern border.

“What is Biden hiding?” asked Texas Senator Ted Cruz. “Next week, I’m bringing 15 senators to the border. DHS said NO to our request to bring media.”

According to the Washington Post, Biden’s people are desperate enough that they’re now proposing to fly migrants to the northernmost states in America and dump them off there. But the media is only getting a slice of all the information. Democratic Rep. Linda Sanchez on Thursday tried claiming it was now "inappropriate" for the press to look inside these migrant facilities housing children.

We can either believe Nancy Pelosi of Washington DC who claims Biden has it under control. Or, we can take the word of Texas Governor Greg Abbot, who calls Biden’s border crisis a humanitarian crisis.

In the end there’s only a bunch of losers and no real winners.
