Far-left antisemitic radicals call for chaos on Election Night at former site of Seattle CHAZ

Antifa and anti-Israel radicals are calling for civil unrest on Election Night in Seattle. Flyers promoting the uprising in Cal Anderson Park, the site of the deadly Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) in 2020, claim that “A win for Trump or Harris is a win for genocide abroad and a militarized police state at home.”

Flyers proclaim, “Everything is f*cked,” and call on antisemitic radicals to “express our displeasure in the streets,” falsely claiming that the state of Israel is committing “a new Holocaust.” Radicals are asked to “wear bloc,” meaning black bloc, the chosen attire of Antifa, consisting of black clothing and masks to hide their identity.

Other groups are also planning their actions for the same time and location. The Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO-Seattle) posted on Instagram declaring, “No matter which side, stop funding genocide!” On the flyer, the group proclaims, “Out of the voting booth, into the streets!” despite Washington being a vote-by-mail state. According to the group's announcement, "It should go without saying that the racist and reactionary Republican agenda deserves no support from working and oppressed people, but we reject the notion of the "lesser evil" while that so-called lesser evil is facilitating genocide."

A flyer posted by activists claiming to be from the radical group Anonymous declared Nov. 5 “The Million Mask March,” called to “Reopen CHAZ,” and claimed the event was sponsored by the “CHAZ Chamber of Commerce.” The flyer featured imagery from the 1605 Gunpowder Plot, an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate King James VI of Scotland and King James I of England by blowing up the House of Lords during the State Opening of Parliament on November 5, 1605.

In 2020, following the BLM and Antifa riots that rocked Seattle following the death of George Floyd, Antifa activists posted flyers calling for violence against police on Election night that featured images of burning ballot boxes.

Following Oct. 7, 2023, where Palestinian terrorists raped, tortured, and murdered over 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped more than 250, Antifa activists have participated in pro-terror protests in the Greater Seattle area.  

Last week, an activist used an incendiary device to set fire to ballot boxes and destroyed hundreds of ballots in Vancouver, Washington. Other attempts were made nearby and in Portland Oregon. “Free Gaza and “Free Palestine” was written on the devices. The FBI is investigating and believes the incidents are all connected. According to the Clark County Auditor's Office, over 500 ballots were burned at the Vancouver, WA bombing site at Fisher's Landing. Multnomah County election officials said three ballots were charred at the Portland, Oregon, bombing site. Another device in Vancouver, WA failed to detonate. 

On the day of the attack, the US Department of Homeland Security published a bulletin warning that some users on domestic violent extremist websites have “encouraged violence against ideological opponents related to the use of mail-in voting,” as well as “methods of sabotaging ballot drop boxes.”

Over the weekend, Democratic Washington Governor Jay Inslee announced that he was placing the National Guard on standby.
