Far-left journalist tries to cancel Pierre Poilievre's wife for following Libs of TikTok on social media

"Rachel Gilmore is the Taylor Lorenz of Canada. This thread is unhinged," Raychik wrote.

The Canadian “Anti-Hate Network” and fired Global News journalist Rachel Gilmore are upset over Ana Poilievre, the wife of Conservative Party of Canada leader Pierre Poilievre, following Libs of TikTok on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Libs of TikTok reposts the often weird, bizarre, and highly questionable rambling rants of woke ideologues and allows them to speak for themselves.

In one segment, a teacher tries to argue that gender is entirely subjective: “I'm going to give you my explanation about what it means to be transgender as well. So, when babies are born, the doctor looks at them, and they make a guess about whether the baby is a boy or a girl.”

Libs of TikTok noted on Tuesday that they have become a source of controversy in Canada, posting on X: “The “Anti Hate Network” which received funding from Trudeau’s Government is spending their time and energy policing who the Conservative leader of Canada’s wife follows on X.”

“[Pierre Poilievre] is the extremely based dude who destroyed a journalist all while eating an apple in a viral video.”

“They’re very angry that [Ana Poilievre] follows us so definitely don’t follow her and help her increase her follower count!”

Progressives in the United States have also targeted Libs of TikTok, particularly by The Washington Post's "internet culture" journalist Taylor Lorenz

Lorenz infamously doxxed the creator of Libs of TikTok, Chaya Raichik, who later appeared on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight to describe the ordeal as  "chaotic" and "very overwhelming.”

The creator told Carlson that she had to move to a "safe location" because of Lorenz’s actions but said, "I think that what I'm doing is very effective, and I think that a lot of people wanted to shut me down. They wanted to intimidate me into silence. And unfortunately for them, that's just never gonna happen.”

"Rachel Gilmore is the Taylor Lorenz of Canada. This thread is unhinged," Raychik wrote on X.

The revelation that Ana Poilievre reads Libs of TikTok apparently confirmed the worst for woke journalists on social media with persistent X poster Rachel Gilmore announcing:

“In case you missed it — Pierre Poilievre’s wife follows LibsofTikTok [sic].”

“The account is effectively an anti-LGBTQ hate account full of disinformation. Hospitals and schools it posts about regularly get threats after the fact. Why does she follow this account?"

In a threaded post, Gilmore wrote, "I wouldn’t normally care about political spouses’ interests, but she’s been actively campaigning alongside Poilievre and is expected to step up her fundraising role. That makes this kind of thing worth questioning."

The Canadian “Anti-Hate Network” then reposted Gilmore’s tweet.

Gilmore worked for Global News before the network fired her in March 2023. She tweeted at the time, “I’m heartbroken to share I have been laid off from Global News.”

“I poured my heart and soul into the work I did alongside amazing colleagues, and I dealt with some horrifying backlash for it.”
