Photos from Christ Church Anglican Church in Flamborough, Ontario has some questioning the province's lockdown and COVID prevention measures.
Currently, houses of worship in Ontario are not allowed more than ten people. But film crews can have up to 50 actors on scene, as well as unlimited crew members.
Photos tweeted by True North's Andrew Lawton show members of the crew filming on set. "It's illegal for more than 10 people to pray at this Flamborough, Ontario church. But as a film set, it's allowed to have 50 actors and unlimited crew."
The Ontario government says buildings that are closed to the public are still able to be used for film productions.
The set, however, "must be configured and operated in such a way as to enable persons on the set to maintain a physical distance of at least two metres from other persons, except where necessary for the filming of the film or television production."
