
Hearings will begin at 9 am on Tuesday with the hearing for Secretary of Veterans Affairs nominee Doug Collins.
The first hearing will take place on Tuesday at 9 am, with Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins appearing before the Veterans’ Affairs Committee. Also set for Tuesday is Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth before the Armed Services Committee at 9:30 am, and Secretary of Interior nominee Doug Burgum, the former governor of North Dakota, will appear before the Energy and National Resources Committee at 10 am.
Kicking off Wednesday’s hearings is that for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, the current governor of South Dakota, before the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee at 9 am. A hearing for Pam Bondi, Trump’s nominee for US Attorney General, will take place at 9:30 am.
Also taking place on Wednesday is the Energy and National Resources Committee hearing for Secretary of Energy nominee Chris Wright; the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee’s hearing on Secretary of Transportation nominee Sean Duffy; the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on CIA director nominee John Ratcliffe; and the Foreign Relations Committee hearing on Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio, a current senator representing Florida will all take place at 10 am.
Russel Vought, Trump’s nominee for Office of Management and Budget director, is set to appear before the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday at 1 pm.
Taking place on Thursday is the Environment and Public Works Committee hearing for administrator of the EPA nominee Lee Zeldin and the Banks, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee hearing for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development nominee Scott Turner. Both of which will take place at 10 am. Also happening Thursday is a Finance Committee hearing for Treasury Secretary nominee Scott Bessent, which will take place at 10:30 am.
Hearings for other major nominees, such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Department of Health and Human Services head and FBI Director nominee Kash Patel, have not yet been set, according to the Daily Wire. A hearing had been set for this week on Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination for Director of National Intelligence but was delayed by Senate Democrats.
