A four-week-old baby was beaten in Detroit, Michigan, after three women allegedly lured the young boy's mother onto the street to attack her.

The helpless newborn boy was thrown to the ground and left with a swollen face and eye in the incident that lasted 10 minutes. The attack on the mother, which was caught on camera, unfolded on the west side of Detroit. The mother claims that she was tricked into visiting a home by the women who claimed to want to see her baby.

The woman was confronted by three relatives of the baby's father. During the attack, the son was thrown out of his stroller onto the ground. Prosecutors are seeking to bring charges against all three women involved in the attack.

The woman, identified by Fox 2 Detroit simply as "Taylor," said, "[They] came out and started jumping me, and it was three verse one."

"It doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter what I said to anyone did it don’t matter this what happened to be my son? We didn’t deserve this," she added.

The woman claimed that the three others said they wanted to see the baby, but when she handed over the car seat with the infant, things took a turn for the worse.

"As I’m handing her my car seat, she starts to kind of like snatch it out of my hand," she said of the encounter. "I was just feeling blows on every part of my body," she said, describing the 10-minute ordeal. "I have knots all over my forehead. I have two swollen eyes. This one was shut."

The beating was worse for Taylor in particular, as she had to undergo a C-section just four weeks before the attack. The identities of the three suspects have not been released.
