A four-minute ad by Posten Norge, the Norwegian postal service, and airing on Norwegian TV, shows Santa Claus making out with another man.

The ad is entitled "When Harry met Santa," and has reportedly been put out to celebrate 50 years of the decriminalization of homosexuality in Norway.

Harry, the Norwegian protagonist, and Santa, wind up obviously attracted to each other in the clip. Eventually, Harry declares himself to Santa by writing him a letter in English, saying "All I want for Christmas is you."

As the video progress (the above video shows a little more than half of the whole thing), Santa comes year after year, until one year, finally, he tells Harry he "got some help so that we could be together.

At that point, the pair do finally wind up together, against all odds.

The video closes off saying, "Merry Christmas, from all of us to all of us."

Posten Norge's spokesperson claimed later that the aim of the ad was to show people that "love has no limits", and claims that the reaction from the Norwegian public has been "overwhelming."

The normally peaceful country of Norway has also recently been in the news for a shocking bow and arrow attack, which killed several people.
