Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was seen Tuesday night remaining unfazed after a man pulled out a gun at an LA comedy show.

Tyson remained calm and collected, managing to de-escalate the situation before anyone got hurt.

According to TMZ, the incident took place at a rooftop bar in Hollywood while Tyson and his friends were watching the show.

Video shows that midway through the set, a man got up and approached Tyson, allegedly challenging him to a fight. The man's behavior became erratic; he shouted and made advances.

Eventually, a man, who TMZ was told was the host of the event, intervenes, and tells the other man to leave.

It was after this that the man in question pulled a gun out from his pants and cocked it, causing those around him to take cover under the tables. Tyson, however, remained seated, deciding instead to engage with the man.

In the video Tyson can be seen beckoning the man to come over once he had put the gun away, which he did. The two exchanged words, before Tyson got up and gave the man a hug. The two shook hands, then the man left.

"Thank you Mike," a man filming said. "Give it up for Mike f*cking Tyson!"

Following the incident, TMZ reports that no call was made to the LAPD.
