OMG's James O'Keefe reported on Monday that he and his team "have been detained near the Canadian border by the Vermont State police." OMG told The Post Millennial that the investigative journalist has "a massive project coming out for release this week" and that they are "worried about James on this one."

"I’m announcing something big," O'Keefe said on X. "It’s not a video—it’s something I’ve been working on for a year. I’ll be on stage in Fort Worth, Texas, with Tucker Carlson tomorrow to make the announcement. Stay tuned."

"He was detained by the Vermont state police for working on a special project and we're hoping for the best on this one," OMG told The Post Millennial.

O'Keefe has been known to get into scrapes while digging deep into key stories. He's covered border issues, as well, and while the reporting on the US-Mexico border, and the massive influx of illegal immigrants there, has been well documented, the circumstances at the northern border with Canada have been far from the public eye.

While it's not yet clear what O'Keefe was investigating, or what he'll release on stage with Tucker Carlson live in Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday, O'Keefe has been researching donations to major Democrat donation platform Act Blue.

During his time with Project Veritas, a company he founded with which he parted ways, O'Keefe investigated occurrences of illegal voting in New Hampshire, where he discovered that at least one man had voted twice, casting an early ballot in Florida and then showing up again to vote in person in the Granite State. O'Keefe was subpoenaed over this reporting and called to share evidence with the state attorney general's office.

O'Keefe will likely be releasing details on Tuesday live in Fort Worth. Tucker Carlson has been staging live events across the country in his first ever tour. The line-up has Tulsi Gabbard, Senator JD Vance, Jack Posobiec, Roseanne Barr, and so many others.

O'Keefe has a long history of bomshell investigative reporting. From his launch onto the scene with his takedown of Acorn, to his inside investigations into Pfizer, to his recent confrontations with New York Civil Judge Arthur Engoron, he's been at the forefront of hot stories and issues.
