Bill Stevenson, who was married to Jill Biden from 1970 to 1975, said that it is "clear Joe Biden has deeper issues."
“I wish he would have the cognitive test,” he said in an interview, per the New York Post. “George asked him about three or four times. It’s what the whole world is thinking about. I feel badly that this guy is someone who now can’t make a decision in the middle of the night.”
Stevenson is a proud Trump supporter and had backed the incumbent president when he ran as VP with Barack Obama as well as when Biden ran for Senate in 1972. Stevenson talked about the First Lady in the interview, saying, “I’ve heard the word ‘elder abuse’ referring to her but that is not something that I have any way of knowing." He added, “But she seems to have turned into this person who is going to push him to the very edge. I think they should both step aside.”
Jill's first husband lives a mile and a half away from the Bidens in Delaware and told the Post last week that he "no longer recognizes” her. “The Dr. Jill Biden who I’ve seen on TV in the last five years is not the same person I married or that I recognize in any way,” he said last week.
“She’s matriculated into a completely different woman," he added. Stevenson has remarried since he split with Jill Biden and has a family of his own. In 2020, he also alleged that the relationship between Joe and Jill began as an affair.
