A Pennsylvania judge sided with the Trump campaign on Tuesday and threw out 2,349 undated ballots that were previously counted, the Daily Wire reports. Biden currently maintains a lead in the state by roughly 80,000 votes.
The decisions comes as the Trump campaign attempts to dispute the results of the election. President Trump and many of his supporters have alleged that voter fraud tipped the election in Biden's favor. While evidence of localized voter fraud has been uncovered in a number of cases, there is thus far no evidence that it will be enough to shift the results of the election.
Giuliani, speaking in a Thursday press conference, claimed that the campaign has evidence of “more than double the number of votes needed to overturn the election, in terms of provable, illegal ballots.” Giuliani pointed to large, Democrat-run cities as the main culprit behinds the alleged fraud, claiming that the number of fraudulent ballots in Philadelphia alone "could fill a library."
Other judges in Pennsylvania, however, have rejected appeals by the Trump campaign to throw out ballots alleged to be invalid. Judges in Montgomery and Bucks counties rejected pleas by the Trump campaign to discard of 592 and 2,117 ballots respectively.
Giuliani insists, however, that a total of 682,770 ballots were not inspected properly and were therefore considered invalid.
The Trump campaign team is also pursuing legal challenges in other states including Georgia, Nevada, and Wisconsin. Recent legal challenges in the state of Michigan were thrown out by a judge, as have some lawsuits in other aforementioned states.
