"US troops under fire in the Middle East. These attacks occurred within the last couple of weeks/months. Reminder, Kamala Harris lied to the entire world last week when she said that we currently have no active duty troops deployed in war zones! Unfit to lead!"
Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) reminded Americans on Tuesday that Vice President Kamala Harris “lied to the entire world” when she claimed there are “no active-duty troops deployed to war zones.”
Banks wrote that his office had obtained footage of "US troops under fire in the Middle East. These attacks occurred within the last couple of weeks/months. Reminder, Kamala Harris lied to the entire world last week when she said that we currently have no active duty troops deployed in war zones! Unfit to lead!”
During the Sept. 10 presidential debate, the Democratic presidential candidate claimed there is “not one member of the US military in active duty in a combat zone — in any war zone around the world."
Since making that false claim that contradicts even the Biden-Harris administration’s list of active combat zones, active-duty Americans have voiced their outrage over apparently being forgotten or unknown by the vice president, the New York Post reported. In fact, there are up to 50,000 US military members currently on active duty in combat zones on the land, air and sea. They receive either “hostile fire” or “imminent danger” across the Middle East and Africa.
During the first presidential debate between Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, Biden falsely declared that no military personnel had died during his presidency, forgetting the 13 Marines that perished in Kabul during the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Former President Trump honored those soldiers at Arlington, while neither Biden nor Harris did.
