Twiggs, a biological male who identifies as female, was photographed in a suburban neighborhood wearing a Taco Bell T-shirt with long hair and a fantasy novel.
The transgender-identifying partner of the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk has emerged from hiding and is currently living in Texas with his family.
According to a report by The Daily Mail, Lance Twiggs has left St. George, Utah, and is staying with his Mormon family in Texas. Twiggs, a biological male who identifies as female, was photographed in a suburban neighborhood wearing a Taco Bell T-shirt with long hair and a fantasy novel. Sources told the outlet that Twiggs has spent most of his time reading, gaming, and occasionally running errands for his family. When approached at a gas station by a reporter for the outlet, Twiggs refused to comment.
“No, no, no,” Twiggs said. “I cannot answer any questions.”
Twiggs previously shared an apartment in St. George with Tyler Robinson, who was arrested for allegedly shooting Kirk in the neck during a speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem. Since Robinson’s arrest, speculation has arisen about Twiggs’ possible knowledge of Robinson’s plot prior to it being carried out. Robinson is currently awaiting trial.
Robinson was turned in after his parents recognized him in news reports, noting he was “pro-gray and trans-rights oriented.” Federal investigators have detailed that text messages recovered from Robinson during his time on the run show he communicated with Twiggs about his involvement in the shooting and his efforts to evade capture. The messages included questions about the engraved bullets that Robinson used to kill Kirk, which reportedly included anti-fascist slogans.
Authorities have not released any evidence suggesting that Twiggs played a role in the attack or is being considered a suspect.
