Leftist 'Be the Change' group urges parents to stop students from forming TPUSA chapter at Texas school, falsely claims Charlie Kirk killer was 'far-right'

"Please please please send emails to two teachers who are rumored to have agreed to sponsoring a club that will sow division and hate among our students."

The vice president of a local Democrat club in Texas Adults attempted to rally adults in a private Facebook group to pressure teachers at Stratford High School in Texas to refuse to sponsor a Turning Point USA chapter (known as Club America at the high school level) at the school. Details of the chat were leaked by adults into a private Facebook group page. They also spread falsehoods about the identity of the killer of Charlie Kirk, who founded TPUSA.

Andrew Kolvet, spokesman for Turning Point USA and close friend to the late Charlie Kirk, said on X, "Some grown adults in Texas decided to respond to the assassination of Charlie by infiltrating group chats of kids who were moved to start new Turning Point chapters, doxxing them, and threatening any teacher who dared to sponsor a new chapter. Truly disgraceful. Worth finding out if any laws were broken Ken Paxton.”

The Moms for Liberty Harris County chapter accused Herbin of doxxing the students who were trying to form the club, calling the behavior from Herpin, “REPREHENSIBLE.”

Moms for Liberty shared screenshots of a Facebook group post from a woman identified as Natalie Herpin, who stated in the private group of over 700 named Be the Change SBISD: "Stratford Parents—I have an urgent request! Please please please send emails to two teachers who are rumored to have agreed to sponsoring a club that will sow division and hate among our students. This is dangerous territory, and it would help if those teachers knew that their consideration was not appreciated by the remainder of the student body.” Herpin is also the Vice President of the Spring Valley Democrats in Texas.

“It appears,” Herpin went on, “that Denise Bell (censorship advocate mamabearisbookaware) is pushing for Stratford students to start a TurningPoint USA club at the school. She brought into a GroupMe chat a Javon Evans, who is the Gulf Coast Representative of 'Club America' which is the Turning Point USA student club name - but it is absolutely the same organization. Without principal's approval, they already decided their first meeting is Friday and already started an instagram page."

Bell is the chair of the Harris County’s “Moms for Liberty” chapter.

She named people in the GroupMe chat, but the names were redacted in the screenshots posted by the Moms for Liberty chapter. Herpin demanded that parents send the teachers emails to pressure the educators to not sponsor the club at the school.

Herpin made a series of accusations against Turning Point USA in the post, and then made the outrageous statement about Kirk's assassination: "Given the famous founder having recently been murdered by an individual motivated by interpersonal rivalry (Nick Fuentes or Charlie Kirk being the better far-right activist), it is very risky for students to bring that kind of potential inflammatory rivalry into school halls, especially with the rate of school shootings in the united states.”

Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University during a campus event on September 10. 22-year-old Tyler Robinson has been charged with Kirk’s murder. Utah is seeking the death penalty in the case. In response to Kirk's murder, there has been an overwhelming number of requests to start chapters on college and high school campuses.
