"We stand in silence, united hand in hand, wearing pink, to show Lindsay Clancy the peaceful support she deserved."
Supporters of the Massachusetts mother charged with killing her three children have planned gatherings in support of her, spanning across the country and even internationally. The rallies will take place on Thursday as Lindsay Clancy's trial remains ongoing.
Clancy has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of her children Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in January of 2023. Her defense has claimed that she suffered a psychotic break due to overmedication and misdiagnosed postpartum mental health illness.
A website titled “Stand In Peace For Lindsay” states, “No Protesting. No Rallying. No Signs. We stand in silence, united hand in hand, wearing pink, to show Lindsay Clancy the peaceful support she deserved.” It advertises an event that will take place on Thursday morning outside of the Plymouth County Courthouse in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where the trial is taking place.
A blog post on the website urges supporters to organize gatherings in their own cities. The comments feature a number of flyers that appear to be AI-generated, featuring women in pink standing hand in hand. Events are set to take place in Phoenix, Arizona; Queens, New York; Troy, North Carolina; Fort Worth, Texas; Frederick, Maryland; and more.
The gatherings are not limited to the United States. Flyers were seen for events in Cape Town, South Africa and Utrecht, Netherlands, with a chart posted by website administrator Renee Kimball suggesting that additional events will be taking place in countries such as Ireland, Portugal, England, Egypt, Australia, and other countries.

In a Facebook Event for the Phoenix gathering, organizers state, “Our purpose is simple: to offer Lindsay the peaceful human support and compassion we believe she deserved long before she entered a courtroom — and to make visible, through silence, that she is not alone.”
People left messages of support for Clancy on the website, with one person writing, “My heart goes out to you and your family. You got an army behind you, fighting for you, lifting you up; hoping for the best possible outcome.”
Another wrote, “You have experienced a tragedy that most of us cannot even begin to imagine. You deserve the most tender care and privacy. A yet, you are being made into a spectacle. Psychologically tortured. It's a modern day witch trial in the most literal sense.”
Yet another wrote, “We are all standing beside you and your family, sending you so much love, strength and support from Tasmania.”
